Carlotta's WordPress Credits Journey

Hi there! I’m Carlotta, as you may tell from my name I’m Italian, so it’s useless to say I love good food and la dolce vita, but yes… I do. When I’m not eating pizza and having aperitivos, I spend my days exploring my studies and learning new things. I have always loved languages. They allow you to explore cultures and places without even having to visit them. I love travelling and experiencing cultures firsthand.

I wanted to make this passion my field of studies. During COVID-19, I started university, studying Languages and Foreign Cultures in Pisa.

In 2024 I earned my Bachelor’s degree. But that wasn’t enough for me! So, in September of the same year I embarked on my Master’s Degree, which, in Italy, lasts two years. The field of study? Linguistics and Translation, how cliche am I?

And that’s how I ended up here, writing this ‘About Me’ Page for my internship with WordPress. I decided to embark on this journey in the hope to improve my translation skills and have a fun experience. So… here I am, I believe that’s everything you need to now about me (for now). Hopefully I haven’t bored you too much, bye bye!
